Student Of The Year 2 Box-Office Collection, Day 1: Ananya Panday-Tiger Shroff-Tara Sutaria’s Fresh Batch Performs Decently
The much-awaited Student Of The Year 2, starring debutantes Ananya Panday, Tara Sutaria with Tiger Shroff hit theatres yesterday. Amidst mixed response from mass and critics, the film has managed to score a decent figure at the BO on Day 1
Student Of The Year gave industry fine talents like Alia
Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. It’s a well-known fact that the duo has made a mark in
the industry and has significant achievements to their credit. So, when the
sequel of the film was announced with 2 new faces- Chunky Panday and Bhavna
Panday’s daughter Ananya and Tara Sutaria, all eyes were set to see which new
talent Karan Johar is introducing to us.
The Punit Malhotra directorial has managed to mark a decent opening at the box-office as it has collected Rs 12.06 crore on Day 1. Although the reviews coming in are mixed, masses and critics alike but as we mentioned earlier the buzz around the film was great and the opening figure is a proof. Interestingly, it has registered a higher opening than Student Of The Year, as it had made Rs 7.52 crore on Day 1.

found the film to be an all out entertainer and wrote, “Planning to see Student
Of The Year 2? Go for it. You won't get bored. The film starts off on a
peppermint note until the triangle between Tara Sutaria-Tiger Shroff-Ananya
Panday is firmly formed, but after that, it has its fair share of twists, turns
and predictability too, but I wasn't tempted to browse through my WhatsApp
during its run and I think I have told you if it's sufficiently engaging in
totality or not.”
